Afghanistan have proven their mettle on Indian soil after taking down two cricket giants in convincing fashions. They sent shockwaves after beating defending champions England by 69 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
In their last fixture, Afghanistan faced a struggling Pakistan side in Chennai. Thanks to an 87-run knock from Ibrahim Zadran, the Afghans were able to claim their second victory of the tournament.
Afghanistan had won that game against Pakistan by eight wickets.

Afghanistan will be taking on Sri Lanka at the MCA International Stadium in Pune on Monday.
Sri Lanka started their world cup with losing their first three games. They picked up wins in their last two matches against the Netherlands and England.
The 1996 champions are looking to relaunch their campaign and will hope to continue their winning run against the Afghans.
