There are many students who have proved that it is not necessary to bag a high-paying job offer if one has a degree only from reputed colleges such as IIT, NIT and IIM. Case in point, Yukta Gopalani, who has marked a tremendous feat by securing a job in a software company with a package worth Rs 82.5 lakh. Her accomplishment is proof that success comes to those who work hard and put in efforts to hone their skills, no matter from which university or college they graduate.

A few months ago, Yukta Gopalani, from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad created history after she bagged a job package of a whopping Rs 82.5 lakh from the software company Atlassian. It is considered to be a record-breaking salary package.

Yukta has completed her B.Tech in Information Technology from IIIT Allahabad and is currently working as a Software Engineer at Atlassian in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She joined the company in July 2023. Her LinkedIn post read, “Hello Everyone! I am so happy to share that I have joined Atlassian as a Software Engineer. Looking forward to exploring and learning more here.”

As per her LinkedIn, she previously interned at Atlassian in the summer of 2022 as a Software Engineering Intern. However, she is not the only student who has grabbed the limelight with her extraordinary achievements.

Rashi Bagga, a B.Tech student from the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR) gained attention after she secured a job package of Rs 85 lakh per annum. Her annual salary set a record as she was the first student from IIIT- NR in 2023 to be offered such a staggering amount of salary.

IIIT Allahabad is a public university that is located in Jhalwa, Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1999, it is listed by the Ministry of Education of India and termed as an Institute of National Importance.
